The Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum is proud to announce that it will host the annual Roger Newton RC Model show.
We will also be celebrating what would have been Roger's 80th birthday (he would have turned 80 in December.)
There will be a luncheon of burgers, chips and pop for sale for $10. Please bring a model or two to showcase as there will be a "Best of Scale" competition with the top 5 being recognized with a plaque and gift certificate to the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum. The event will be held 10am to 2pm on Saturday February 18th, 2023. Please bring your own table and chair (will not be provided). See you there for an afternoon of bench racing!"
Welcome to Our Club
For those looking at our site for the first time, welcome, and those returning to the site you will see some changes, so thank you for returning.
We have been an organized club since 1996 and registered with the North American Model Boat Association (NAMBA) since that time. We welcome all racers of any age and skill level. Our club prides itself on being a family oriented club. Longtime members are more than willing to help newer members with boat set up and driving skills. Our goal is to make fast electric model boat racing a fun experience for everyone.
2022 Race Schedule
We have three locations that we race at during our 2022 racing season, which is usually from February to September. One lake is north east of Seattle in Granite Falls at Lake Gardner, this year we feature three races at Gissberg Twin Lakes, (Smokey Point) Marysville. Then winding up our race season with the last three races at Lake Waughop. Lakewood, WA (Tacoma).
Looking forward to a great year of racing.
